Holiday Tales

My wife Carolyn and I and our three children spent the majority of our time overseas in Croatia in the village of Smokvica, on the island of Korcula. This is where my family originates and my paternal Grandmother still lives there at 93 years old.

It was wonderful for our children to meet their Great-Grandmother and to learn and experience age-old customs and traditions. We are also very fortunate that Korcula is an absolutely stunning place with many beautiful bays of crystal clear water to go swimming in, which we did most days.

Visiting New York was a life-long dream come true for my wife and we absolutely loved it. The sheer size, architecture, history and energy of the place gives it a buzz that you have to feel to believe. The city certainly fulfilled all of our expectations and was ‘awesome’ in the true sense of the word.
