Strategic Financial Adviser
Mark is an experienced financial professional, having commenced his career in 2008 working for Barclays Bank and then Lloyds in the UK. After his arrival to Australia, he continued his journey in banking and finance, joining Bankwest in 2013 as a senior financial planner, and spending the next 8 years there and in the larger CBA organisation.
Looking after clients across a diverse geographic area has provided Mark with an appreciation of the important considerations for professionals, families, and farming community clients. At Empire, Mark provides advice across a number of strategic matters, incorporating Superannuation and Self Managed Superannuation advice, GESB West State and Gold State, retirement planning, cashflow, and debt management as well as managing significant investment portfolios.
With his British banking background and understanding of the UK pensions system, Mark is also well placed to provide assistance to UK expats living in Australia, assisting with UK Pension transfers.
Healthcare Experience
To satisfy his passion for helping people, and contributing to the community, Mark commenced his nursing degree in 2019, and is now a fully qualified nurse. He spends 1 day a week working in nursing, and during his studies was volunteering at Ronald McDonald House and Perth Children’s Hospital. This commitment to care and community is seamlessly interwoven with his financial planning profession.
