Raymond is the founder and Managing Director of Empire Financial Group. He chairs the Empire Investment Committee and is a Responsible Manager of our Australian Financial Services Licence, EFG Advice Australia.

A highly decorated professional, Raymond’s more than 20 years experience in financial services has seen him engage in a diverse range of roles and ventures, dealing with large corporations, successful business owners and executives and family clients requiring assistance with managing wealth.
Financial Pioneer
Raymond was instrumental in the establishment and roll out of the LJ Hooker Superannuation Fund, at the time Australia’s largest real estate network with over 500 offices and 5,000 staff. He also played a major part in rolling out Australia’s first ever community-based superannuation fund in the Mallee region of Victoria, with the aim of providing benefits for local community development.
Raymond’s Empire
Since then, Raymond has refocused his practice to dealing with successful individuals, families and business owners. In that time he has built one of Perth’s most impressive teams of financial services professionals, all focussed on assisting clients build and manage financial wealth and security through a team based strategic approach to quality financial advice. With Empire managing hundreds of millions in client funds, he was pivotal in establishing and overseeing a robust investment philosophy and portfolio management solution to compliment Empire’s strategic advice service.
Community Responsibilities
For over six years, Raymond was the Western Australian delegate to a national Dealer Group Advisory Council, helping to develop and improve communication between the advisor network and licensee management. He is also often called upon as a speaker on financial planning strategies, to accounting, finance and real estate groups, and the membership of associations such as the Institute of Public Accountants.
Outside of the office, was twice the Campaign Chairman to a former State Cabinet Minister.
Qualifications
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University in WA and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services.
He has also completed the Chief Executives Forum course at The Wharton School of Finance and Economics (University of Pennsylvania)
Raymond has been recognised with multiple State and National Adviser and Practice of the Year awards, and in 2018 with a prestigious WA Business News 40under40 Winner award.
